About Cricket Federation of Cambodia
Cambodia’s cricket journey is nothing short of exciting and full of promise. From humble beginnings, the Cambodia Cricket Association earned membership with the Asian Cricket Council in 2012, and later joined the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia in 2011, achieving full Olympic membership in 2021. In 2019, the national team made its international debut, facing Malaysia on the iconic Kinrara Oval.
The road to global cricket recognition was further paved in 2022 when Cambodia achieved Associate Membership of the International Cricket Council (ICC), marking a historic moment for the sport in the country.
Since then, Cambodia has been making waves—playing its first T20I matches during the 2023 Southeast Asian Games and continuing to rise with remarkable performances.
The women’s national team made its grand debut in December 2022 with a stunning 5-1 series victory against the Philippines. Their remarkable journey continued with a series against Singapore, showcasing Cambodia’s growing cricket talent on the international stage.
With a strong focus on youth development and expanding the game’s reach across the nation, Cambodia cricket is not just about matches and tournaments—it’s about building a cricketing legacy for generations to come.
